16+ & Young Adults
We offer accommodation and support services where young people can grow, connect with society and take their first steps to a better future.
What We Offer — 18 to 25 Year Olds
We offer accommodation with intense support to young people aged 16 and over, including those aged 18 to 25, who require structured, compassionate care as they transition into adult life.
We specialise in placement breakdowns of young people, including looked-after children with complex needs, forensic and other specialised needs. We aim to provide suitable accommodation that smoothens their transition into adult life.
Our Ten Point Promise to 16+ and Younger Adults
Firstly
We support our young persons with their treatment plan, working alongside the Community Mental Health Team to prevent a possible relapse.
Secondly
We encourage our clients to live inclusively and provide them with tailored support plans to meet their individual highlighted needs.
Thirdly
We support our young persons with therapeutic sessions such as Music, Art, Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Theory (CBT), Talking Therapy — including sessions with practising psychologists, occupational therapists and other therapists.
Fourthly
We provide regular key-working sessions which form the basis of our direct work with our young persons, thereby promoting personal development and stability within the placement.
Fifthly
We support and encourage our young persons to develop and enhance their life skills.
Sixthly
We assist and support with any housing issues, and provide education and/or employment, budgeting, debt and household bill management.
Seventhly
We support our young persons to become part of a strong community, enhancing their ability to function effectively within the neighbourhood and build sustainable tenancies.
Eighthly
We partner with providers and voluntary agencies to tailor in-house training programmes aimed at assisting in employment or voluntary work.
Ninthly
We assist and encourage our young persons to engage and keep appointments with external agencies such as local mental health and learning disability services, physical disability services, primary healthcare services, GP surgery, statutory services and voluntary agencies.
Tenthly
When our young people are ready to move on to suitable accommodation, we are there to make the journey smooth and to settle them into their next chapter.
